Cranberry Scones

CRANBERRY SCONES

2 cups all purpose flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 cup whipping cream
1/2 to 3/4 cup dried cranberries.

           In medium bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, oil and whipping cream. Stir in dried cranberries. On a lightly floured surface roll dough 1/2 inch thick. Cut into triangles or desired shape.  Bake on parchment lined baking sheet for 10-12 minutes in a preheated 400o  oven. 

 Serve with Devonshire cream, or Lemon-Lime Curd. (delicious with the cranberries!) These would also be nice with butter and orange marmalade.
