Juicy Ginger Ale Tea Punch

This is an incredible tea punch and versatile! I'd serve this any day in a pitcher at dinnertime for a refreshing treat. Not too sweet; it is a flexible recipe. Have fresh lemons? Make your own lemonade! I did! Below is the punch with a simple ice ring made from recipe ingredients, adding rose leaves that are free of pesticides and washed thoroughly. Pre-tea! Yes?

Be yourself! Instead of using punch cups, I used these pretty glasses that my sister gave to me; the punch bowl is "makeshift" too. The bowl is a lid to a cake plate and the base is a base to an old and too small punch bowl. Look around your home! See things with a fresh eye. The roses are from my husband, displayed in a simple jug that I found for a song! The framed strawberry has meaning too. We taught ladies in India to do a type of embroidery project and this was mine. I had to frame it; it is probably a once in a lifetime kind of thing!

Do give this recipe a try! It is delicious.

Juicy Ginger Ale Tea Punch

1 C of your favorite black tea, strongly brewed
1 C white sugar
4 C orange juice
4 C pineapple juice
4 C lemonade (prepared)
1 - 2 liter bottle ginger ale (chilled)

Directions:

Mix the tea and sugar in a pitcher until the sugar is dissolved. Add the orange juice, pineapple juice, and lemonade. Chill in the refrigerator for 4 hours. When ready to serve, pour into a punch bowl and add the ginger ale.

Note: Honey is a wonderful substitute in this recipe, adding another subtle flavor, but also a little healthier and we can all appreciate that!  Don't be afraid to make really strong tea! The amount you use is very small!
