Simplicity Chicken |
||
| I must admit that I did not want to like this chicken; it is so easy to prepare. How could it be so good? But it really is good! | ||

A friend served this in her home and it looked lovely on the table but the taste was so very good. This recipe has made the rounds I have learned, but if you missed it, it is worth a try. This recipe was given to me originally by Cindy Neuschwanger, operator of what we lovingly refer to as the Neuschwanger Internationale, known for its hospitality and greatly varied guests!
And here is the recipe ....
You may brown the chicken if you like, then place in a casserole dish or baking pan with sides. There will be juice! Mix the sauce and dressing together and pour over the chicken and bake for an hour at 350 degrees. I have seen this recipe since with the addition of a package of onion soup mix, but what I was struck with was the simplicity of it and the taste! The gravy is so delicious on mashed potatoes or on rice! Enjoy!
